Could it be?  Yes!  The #BrettHolmesFans contest that was put on hiatus two years ago is now back!

Contest Theme: Scenes Left Out

Draw a favorite moment from the Sherlock Holmes canon that you wish they had done in the Granada TV series that they did not do, or that they altered/cut out of the story.

An example of this would be Inspector Lestrade coming to ask for Mr. Holmes's advice at the end of "The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton" (The Master Blackmailer).  Another example would be something from "A Study in Scarlet," which was not made into an episode at all.

Rules and Guidelines

Your piece must include Jeremy Brett as Holmes.
Characters in your piece must be represented by their Granada series actors (example: Colin Jeavons as Lestrade).
Your piece must be drawn new for this contest.
Your piece must be your own original creation.
All normal group rules still apply (no nudity, no literature, etc.).

Both traditional and digital media are allowed.
Anyone may enter this contest.
You may create as many entries as you want, but you can only win once.
Include "CONTEST" in your deviation title when you submit it to the group, and in your deviation description state that it is a contest entry for #BrettHolmesFans.  Remember, you must submit it to the group!
Submission deadline is May 31st.

If there are any questions, please ask!  We want the contest to be as fun as possible for everyone.

Judging

After all entries have been submitted, group members will vote for one winner by sending a note to me, *bcbdrums.  Put "Vote" in the subject line of the note, and in the body of the note just make it clear which entry your vote is for.
Do NOT send your voting note to the group itself.  There are occasional dA glitches that hide notes from groups, and we want to make sure all votes get counted.
Voting will last for one week, so it ends on June 7th.  Winners will be announced as soon as votes are counted.

Three winners will be chosen by member vote.  There will be one additional winner, a judges' choice chosen by the group admins.

Hello, I am *bcbdrums, the current admin of this group.  The group owner *KaizokuShojo has returned to deviantART, but not yet to managing the group.  But since her return, we have discovered something most unfortunate---before she left, somehow she mistakenly didn't give me the ability to accept new members to the group!   So if you have tried to join the group, or know anyone who has tried to join the group, in...oh, year and a half, and weren't accepted, you have her and my deepest apologies.  So please re-apply to join!  She also mistakenly didn't give me the ability to post blogs, that is why there have been no updates.  But, all is well now, and hopefully we can get this group going the way it's supposed to be
